Tue, Jan 31, 2017, 1 –2 pm Auditorium 150 Visiting Artist Lecture Image Gottfried Haider Gottfried Haider is an artist, educator, and tool maker. Gottfried's work examines the role of practice and the positionality of the artist-technician in contemporary culture. His work has been shown in various venues internationally. Currently, he is working with the Processing Foundation on developing tools for a new generation of small and inexpensive computing devices. His background is in digital arts, with a degree from University of Applied Arts Vienna. He is also a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship and holds an MFA in design media arts from the University of California Los Angles.
