Forrest Wasko

Forrest Wasko is a visual artist and educator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their work centers around vernacular photography and the photo book. Following in the practice of photographing democratically, their images are a romantic and empathetic view of the familiar and everyday. Often contrasting the ordinary and extraordinary, their work flows between both, blending the two together seamlessly. Wasko has self-published four photo books including Scenes Sincere: Volumes I (2019), A Little While Longer (2020), Till Then (2020), and Scenes Sincere: Volume II (2021).
