Image Faculty Alumni ’06 Title Adjunct Faculty Education BFA, Minneapolis College of Art and Design Kevin Kamin is a creative professional and educator based in Minneapolis. He is the creative services’ brand manager at WCCO/CBS Minnesota where he writes, directs, and executive produces a range of broadcast content. His own company Studio Gata is hired by agencies and creative groups in the areas of visual effects, motion graphics, 3D animation, motion capture, color grading, and creative editorial. Teaching is a passion for Kevin. For the past nine years, he has developed and delivered creative training and given technical lectures at Best Buy, FilmNorth, professional industry groups, and the University of Minnesota. In a previous life, he was a chef for 19 years, which overlapped with his college and creative career. He was the head sushi chef at several authentic Japanese restaurants in the Twin Cities.
