Genessis Lopez

Genessis Lopez is a painter and illustrator whose work is vibrant, nature-inspired imagery, deeply rooted in botanical themes. Her artistry has been showcased through partnerships with Twin Cities organizations, including Pollen Midwest, Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association, and Minnesota Public Radio, among others. In 2023, Genessis illustrated the cover for Art-A-Whirl and designed a special edition tote bag for MPR in collaboration with the Minnesota State Fair. She holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Studio Art, focusing on Printmaking, from Hamline University.
