Faculty Title Visiting Faculty Degree Gonzalo Reyes Rodriguez has presented solo exhibitions at The Arts Club of Chicago, The Windor Contemporáneo, Madrid, and La Postal, Mexico City. His work has been featured in group exhibitions including Monarchs: Brown and Native Artists in the Path of the Butterfly at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, Thru the Roof at the Alice Gallery, Seattle, Surf Club at Vox Populi, Philadelphia, and Memorias Para Anhelar el Olvido at Galería Gabriela Mistral, Santiago. His work has been reviewed in numerous media such as Hyperallergic, Contemporary Art Daily, Terremoto MX, the Daily Lazy, and Public Parking. He has received awards from the Illinois Arts Council, Propeller Fund/Three Walls, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. He was an artist in residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and a fellow at the Program for Advanced Studies in Critical Practices at the Reina Sofia Museum. He attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania.
