Faculty Title Continuing Education Instructor Education MFA, Minneapolis College of Art and Design BFA, Montana State Univeristy Current Career Adjuct Professor Location Saint Paul, MN Nicholas Kovatch is an active sculptor, installation artist, and Adjunct Professor based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He received his MFA in Visual Studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and his BFA in sculpture from Montana State University-Bozeman. Past accomplishments are a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow at the MacDowell Colony in 2014, a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in 2015, and a fellow at the Arteles Creative Center in 2016, located in Hameenkyro, Finland. Solo shows include, Heinz Studio Gallery in New Hampshire, Waller-Yoblonsky Gallery in Montana, and The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin. Nick has an upcoming exhibition in the spring of 2026 at the Phipps Center for the Arts.
