Parker has developed and advised on the design of over a dozen internationally-recognized games for social change and civic engagement in partnership with the Environmental Law Institute, Wilson Center, Stanford, Yale School of Health Sciences, University of Pittsburgh, PBS Kids, Disney, and others. Their work has been funded by federal agencies including the NOAA, NSF, NIH, and Department of Education.

A self-described life-long learner, Parker holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of Illinois, an M.S. in Microbiology, Immunology & Cancer Biology from University of Minnesota, an M.S. in Education & Social Policy from Northwestern, and multiple certificates in Game Design from MIT.

They are currently working with Minneapolis College of Art and Design to create radically inclusive academic spaces. With an emphasis on humanizing virtual spaces and rethinking content delivery and design in a way that nurtures innovation and cultivates opportunities for all students to thrive.
