As a maker I struggle with adding more "stuff" to the world. As an artist I am pulled to make things. As a craftsperson I value quality and attention to detail. As a designer I strive to create thoughtful, innovative objects. As an educator I understand the power of creative thought and the ability of intentional, meaningful work to change the world. I believe that to survive, we must create and to create we must work to understand our surroundings, materials, spaces and objects.
