For more than 130 years, MCAD has been shaping the meaning of art and design education. No matter where you are in your life, an education through MCAD's master's programs will propel you from where you are to where you want to go.

MCAD offers three graduate programs: a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies; a Master of Arts in Graphic and Web Design; and a Master of Arts in Sustainable Design.

The Master of Fine Arts program presents a unique mentor-based, interdisciplinary approach among a community of makers, thinkers, theorists, researchers, and creative professionals.

The Master of Arts in Graphic and Web Design is a fully online program designed for motivated working adults. Courses cover design principles, typography, research, ideation, web design, programming, workflow management, and more.

Pursuing a Master of Arts in Sustainable Design is ideal for students who are seeking a deep understanding of the cutting-edge theories, practical applications, and leadership strategies of sustainable design in order to forge new paths in this continually evolving field. This program takes place entirely online, making it a perfect fit for busy working professionals.

"[Pursing a Master of Arts in Graphic and Web Design] was the best decision I made. It opened up tons of doors and led me to understand how wide the world of design is—that a creative career can take a lot of different shapes—and it gave me countless tools to grow my own business and also meet client's needs." —Ashley Mary
