2023 Merit Scholarship Recipient: Jocelyn Martin

Describe the work you submitted for merits.

The work is made up of class projects I completed during my first half of the MA in Graphic and Web Design program. These projects were assigned in the courses Web Design, Web Development, Design Studio, and Typography.

What made you choose to come to MCAD for your MA?

The graphic and web design program attracted me as someone who was new to the design field and wanted to learn about user experience design. The program structure and courses offered were exactly what I was looking for. 

Favorite thing about the program (so far)?

My favorite course was Web Design with Madeeha Lamoreaux.

What inspires you? 

Watching animated movies like Studio Ghibli films, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
