Furniture, lighting, sculpture, and product design

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I came back to school as an older student because of my drive to create art and learn the skills to make the things in my head.

What are your plans for your senior year? And beyond?

I plan to attend an internship with a furniture guild in Wyoming and hopefully delve into more lighting design.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

Having access to all of the knowledge of the professors and other students.

What inspires you?

I'm deeply inspired by both mycelium and classic cars. Organic, yet sleek.

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

My favorite piece I've made was an interactive fungus lamp that reacts to you when you set off the motion sensor.

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

I'm currently obsessed with pattern drafting clothing, as it's an exercise in understanding how things fit together.
