I chose to be a print paper book major because, ever since high school, I've really enjoyed screen printing. The print shop here is amazing too!Describe the work you submitted for merits. For merits, I submitted a couple screen prints, a large multimedia painting, an art book, and a little box with a tungsten cube in it. All of them were arranged around a two-sided standing wall which I've never seen used for installation before, and so decided to take on the challenge. Why did you decide to come to MCAD?Make art! Printmaking! :DWhat are your plans for your senior year? And beyond? For my senior year, I'm going to continue what I have been doing, which is, of course, making art. My senior project might be a club leader's handbook. Favorite thing about college life (so far)? The cool professors and students! Shout out to Abbi Allan for being awesome, and all the print shop staff for the work they do to make that place run smoothly.Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!One of my favorite pieces, which is actually a series of them, is a stop-motion video series. It's a collaboration of my sister, my cousins, and I. Go take a look here: http://tinyurl.com/llamastudiosbyllama Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?Hermitcraft! It's a Minecraft multiplayer series run by 20+ YouTube creators, each of which makes videos about their builds and interactions. There's somewhat of a plot at times too, and it's like a TV show where you can watch from every character's perspective. Would highly recommend (you don't even have to start at the beginning of a season)Lastly, do you have a favorite question we didn't ask?
