Alnabi's Photography Featured in Smithsonian Publication

Jaafar Alnabi ’16 has recently had a photograph featured in the Smithsonian publication American Art.

The photograph was featured in Volume 37, Number 3 of the magazine (Fall 2023), and was used as part of Chad Elias' article "Islam and the Middle East in the United States: Claire Beckett's Simulating Iraq and The Converts".

On his Instagram, Alnabi writes that it's a "proud moment for myself to see my work recognized next to artists that I have studied and admired."
