July 08, 2022 Image Alumni Wyatt Lasky and Jonathon Rosemond, collectively named A Sponge Made of Mirrors, are currently showing in an exhibition of the same name at the Midway Contemporary Art Gallery. A Sponge Made of Mirrors is a collaborative duo who makes videos based on the sharing practices built into mixtape, playlist, podcast, and file sharing subcultures. In the last year, Rosemond and Lasky have recorded conversations with artists and curators on the subject of genre, music, and process, and collected these materials into episodic mashups of conversation, curated music, and found footage.
