Illustrator Katie Daisy ‘09 captivated the audience at last week’s Economic Development for Central Oregon PubTalk event, sharing her journey from a Minneapolis College of Art and Design graduate to a successful artist. 

Daisy’s breakthrough came when a “Mommy Blog” featured her work, leading to licensing deals with major brands like Target and Hallmark. “I was on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday,” she noted, highlighting her remarkable online success.

Daisy, now based in Sisters, OR, showcased her vibrant illustrations and their impact on the art community. Her story emphasized the power of passion and digital platforms in building a thriving art business.
