April 25, 2023 Image Keith Braafladt ’86 and Joe Imholte (the current Executive Vice President at The Bakken Museum in Minneapolis) recently collaborated on an article detailing an exhibit he co-created at the Science Museum of Minnesota. In the article, Braafladt and Imholte go over the genesis of 2016's Cardboard Gallery, making it a reality, and developing a 'sequel' exhibit in 2019 entitled Cardboard City. They both go over the business end of making the exhibits and how the community/staff helped pitch in to help aid in the creation of the events.
