J. Kevin Byrne, emeritus professor from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, is showcasing his latest exhibition, A Pilgrimage on Paper (Drawn to Saint Paul Catholic Churches). This unique display offers a meticulous portrayal of every active Roman Catholic cathedral, church, and chapel in Saint Paul, MN.

Byrne’s exhibition promises a unique glimpse into Saint Paul's architectural heritage, capturing every active Roman Catholic cathedral, church, and chapel in the city. The collection features thirty meticulous sketches, complemented by a mood board, map, and photographs crafted over seven years on-site.

Byrne’s passion for capturing architectural beauty has been a lifelong journey. From studying Europe's historic churches as a Fulbright-Hayes Teaching Professor in the UK to exploring cityscapes through a Google-Earth Fellowship, he now focuses on "urban sketching" in Saint Paul. His work reflects his extensive graphic and map design background and his education with various religious orders.
