Dahl's Mural-Making Skills Shine in Colombia

Elissa Cedarleaf Dahl ’07, MFA, has recently spent her spring semester as a Fulbright Distinguished Educator awardee to study and create street art in Medellín, Colombia.

Being awarded the Fulbright Distinguished Educator Award by the US Department of State and
IREX, Dahl and her family moved to Colombia to help create collaborative murals with the local community of Medellín, the second-largest city in the South American country. She has chronicled and documented her experiences on her website in the form of journal entries.
