The Minnesota Book Awards recently bestowed the first prize in the Children’s Literature category on Beneath, written and illustrated by Cori Doerrfeld ’02.

Doerrfeld, a distinguished author and illustrator renowned for her remarkable contributions to children’s literature, including the award-winning The Rabbit Listened, once again captivated hearts with Beneath. Within the pages of this poignant tale published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers/Hachette Book Group, readers are transported through the emotional journey of Finn, guided by their Grandpa.
