Emery Awarded Fulbright Open Research Award in Taiwan

Clara Emery ’19 has recently been awarded the Fulbright Open Research Award in Taiwan.

Beginning August 2023 and going until May 2024, Emery will visit the independent Chinese island and photograph locations embedded in Taiwanese religious lore and superstitions, investigating ways in which these sites, known to possess intense spiritual power, have shaped local communities.
