“Exploration and Ideation”—Student Work Ventures Outside MCAD

Foundation Studies students at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design are currently exhibiting Exploration and Ideation at Homewood Studios.

Exploration and Ideation features a collection of student work of varying media and artistic approaches, showcasing the variety of MCAD overall. Walls lined with sculptures, drawings, paintings, prints, and digital work encompass an inviting and eclectic gallery space. At the center, a resting area with artists’ books and zines allows for engagement with vulnerable and intimate work. Exploration and Ideation gives Foundation Students the opportunity to reach a broader audience outside MCAD walls.
