February 04, 2022 Rik Sferra Faculty member and Minneapolis-based artist Luis Fitch gave a shoutout to MCAD in his recent feature in AFAR Travel Magazine, Minnesota's Best Museum's According to Latinx Artist Luis Fitch. Fitch, while speaking about MCAD's neighbor, the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia), he had this to says, "Not only is it two blocks away from our office, but it is also next door to MCAD, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, one of the largest and most famous design schools in town." Fitch also mentioned that he often enjoys spending his Saturday mornings at the MCAD library.
