On October 19, Plexus Projects unveiled their second installment of GUI/GOOEY, a digital group exhibition that explores the connection between technology and the organic world. The exhibit includes a range of mediums, from videos to websites to sculpture installations, and is made up of six different categories, Exude, Flow, Gush, Ooze, Seep, and Secrete.

The collection includes the work of Ben Moren ’10, MCAD alum and faculty member. His piece, in the Exude section, is an interactive website titled drawing.garden. When a mouse is hovered over the brown background a nature-based emoji is ‘planted’ accompanied by delightful plucky synth notes. The exhibit runs from October 19 through December 19 and is held online.
