Jen Hancock ’19 was featured in a panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in July of this year. Women of Concept Art for Film & TV brought together this year's panel of five talented artists, including Hancock, and was moderated by a successful costume designer, Mairi Chisholm. It is noted in the article that “the panel session was one of the most popular at this year’s SDCC, with other 1,000 people in attendance”.

Hired by costume designers, Hancock’s job requires her to help conceptualize costumes visually/artistically for approval/funding by a director/studio before it is made. Hancock is a successful MCAD graduate with the following biography taken from her website:

Jen Hancock is a member of the Costume Designers Guild, IATSE Local 892, and the Concept Art Association. Recent projects include Violent Night (Universal), Haunted Mansion (Disney), Descendants: The Rise of Red (Disney+), and Family Switch (Netflix).

Illustration clients include Copic Marker, BRIDES Magazine US, MilkX Magazine HK, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Close to my Heart, and Disney Parks Costume Design and Development

Jen has been a panelist at San Diego Comic-Con, and Lightbox Expo.  In 2023, she presented the awards for Best Character Design in a Series / Feature at the Concept Art Association Awards. Jen has been a featured guest on The Art of Costume Podcast, and has been profiled in The Costume Designer and ImagineFX.
