Pao Houa Her ’09 and Kelly Nipper ’93 have recently been announced as 2023 Guggenheim Fellows.

Her and Nipper are among 171 individuals to receive this fellowship, which is run by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation in New York City. Chosen from a rigorous application and peer review process out of nearly 2,500 applicants, the 2023 Fellows are described by Guggenheim Foundation President Edward Hirsch as following "their calling to enhance all of our lives, to provide greater human knowledge and deeper understanding. We’re lucky to look to them to bring us into the future."
