Huck Assists in Reframing of A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte

Christine Huck ’09 recently played a role in the reframing of George Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.

A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte spent the last 98 years at The Art Institute of Chicago. Recently the painting has undergone a process of being reframed and restored. Huck had the honor of assisting the team reframe Seurat's work. La Grande Jatte is now once again on view at the Art Institute.
