February 15, 2023 Image John Kruth John Kruth ’79 is set to release a book on the legacy of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon next month. The book, entitled Lunacy: The Curious Phenomenon of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, 50 Years On, dives into the legacy of Pink Floyd's 1973 landmark album, with interviews from people who have a deep relationship with it, including a brain surgeon listening to "Brain Damage" while on the job and a woman who gave birth while scream-singing to "Great Gig in the Sky". Mainly a musician, Kruth has recently got back into the visual arts. In 2020, he did a visual art series from home entitled Yard Signs for Pandemic Times, quoting from the likes of William Blake, Dylan Thomas, Michael McClure, as well as various song lyrics and political slogans.
