Lady Midnight takes spot on Top Ten Photos of 2024

MCAD alumni Adriana Rimpel ’09, also known as Lady Midnight, earned the number 6 spot in Sashan Journal’s list of Top 10 Photos of 2024: Moments of Protest and Celebration. The photo set in question was for her second album Pursuit and the Elusive which covers grief, identity, addiction, and trauma.

The Afro-Caribbean artist takes inspiration from hip-hop and R&B to create her own unique sound and albums. The portrait session made the list because of her background as a photograher, her creativity having boosted the promotion’s visuals up a notch.
