June 12, 2024 Minneapolis College of Art and Design was recently awarded a new two-year grant for $200,000 by the Jerome Foundation. The St. Paul-based organization, which was founded in 1964 by artist and philanthropist Jerome Hill, funds artistic activities for both Minnesota and New York residents across eight fields, and for 2024 gave out $5.5 million in grants. MCAD was re-awarded for early career Minnesota-based visual artists in the MCAD-Jerome Foundation Fellowships for Early Career Artists program, which has been active since 1981.
