Film Youth Apprenticeship Program in Quad Cities

Jaide Logsdon, a Minneapolis College of Art and Design student, is involved in Quad City Arts’ Metro Arts Youth Apprenticeship Program, creating two original short films at Augustana College with eight other apprentices.

Logsdon has been a longtime participant of the program, with her first introduction in her sophomore year of high school. As first assistant director for this summer’s films, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role.

"I have learned more about the industry standard—script-writing, proper foundation, scheduling, and working as a team," she shared. "In the future, I want to direct films and write. I hope to travel, but I also want to come back here."
