Mueller Featured in North Valley Magazine for Western Pencil Drawings

Dick Mueller

Alum Dick Mueller has been featured in North Valley Magazine for his pencil drawings of Western scenes and people.

Mueller is an award-winning artist who got his start originally in sales but has always had a passion for art. His work relies heavily on Western subjects, both present-day and historical. He has said that his biggest inspiration are old radio programs about the West and its people. He says that after he would listen to these programs he would draw scenes from the Old West. 

Mueller has been the recipient of five awards, he is a juried member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, and his work has been in many American Plains Artists Shows.
