Regan Golden's Solo Exhibition "Green Screen" at Viewpoint Gallery

MCAD professor Regan Golden presents Green Screen, a solo exhibition opening on March 9 at Viewpoint Gallery.

Green Screen offers a unique artistic exploration of Minnesota's lush plant life. The exhibition features large-scale photographs and collages showcasing intricate details of local plants, including mosses, lichens, oak leaves, and grasses. These works, created using high-resolution scanners, offer an up-close view of the flora surrounding us daily.

Golden, a Saint Paul native, blends her passion for art and science through her examination of the natural world. Inspired by the concept of a green screen in film production, Golden's works create an imaginary world grounded in reality—the plants that form the backdrop of our everyday lives.
