October 23, 2024 Image John Davis ’84, known for his transformative work in New York Mills and Lanesboro, brings his vision for the arts to Warroad, Minnesota with the new RiverPlace, a $20 million arts and culture center. As construction wraps up, Davis led a recent tour of the facility, which features a 320-seat performance space. Davis, who has dedicated his career to nurturing the arts in rural areas, aims to integrate the center into the lives of Warroad residents, a community more commonly associated with hockey and manufacturing.
