Steve Lenius Celebrates Sculptor Stewart Luckman with New Catalogue

Steve Lenius ’21 has made a significant contribution to the art world with the release of Stewart Luckman Sculpture: Flipping, Turning, Pushing. This major retrospective catalogue showcases the works of the late sculptor Stewart Luckman and accompanies a current exhibition at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art.

Luckman, a prominent figure in Minnesota’s art scene, taught at several institutions including Bethel University, where he served as Head of the Sculpture and Art Education Programs until his retirement in 1998. His career spanned nearly five decades, with works displayed in various public collections across the U.S. and Europe.

The catalogue not only highlights Luckman’s artistic legacy but also serves as a tribute to his influence on generations of artists.
