MCAD alumni Gene Bird ’00 has their video work Sunset on display at the exhibition Squirting Flowers. The exhibit, which opened on January 1, 2025, is done in collaboration with the group Peer Review, a collective that pairs artists together to meet, discuss, and review other artists' work.

A self-proclaimed absurdist circus, Squirting Flowers is an experiment focusing on artists and their friendships. It brings together past participants of Peer Review to exhibit their surreal work on Beverly’s stage where, according to the gallery “artists, organizers, and viewers all play, discuss, and dance in tandem.” The exhibit will remain on display until late March.
