Congrats 2014 MASD Graduates!

A big congratulations to our twelve December 2014 graduates. We couldn’t be more proud of you and your work! It was especially delightful to have 7 students attend the commencement ceremony in person last week.

Completed Summer 2014:

Jerad Carlson's thesis was titled, “Whole Earth Sports: Developing a Product-Service for a Sustainable Focused Sports Brand."

Jake Hvistendahl's thesis was titled, "The Living Cupboard."

Joel Kohn's thesis was titled, "WaterSlide: A Mobile and Web Water Quality System."

Gautam Muralidharan's thesis was titled, “SOUP – A Resilient Small Business Network."

Kate Mohn's thesis was titled, "Redesigning the Countryside, Renewing Communities: Educational Approaches and Creative Development Strategies for a Stronger and More Sustainable Greater Minnesota."

Jessica Papa's thesis was titled, "Nurturing Sustainable Behavior in a Changing Economic Landscape: Identifying patterns to motivate consumer behavior."

Completed Fall 2014:

Michal Crawford-Zimring's thesis was titled, "Integrating Biodiversity with Urban Infrastructure: A design plan for sustainability."

Amy Dritz's thesis was titled, "Closing the Sustainability Gap: The emerging role of sustainable graphic designer."

Tim Hutchens' thesis was titled, "Eco-Housing: How home construction can be sustainable."

Craig Johnson's thesis was titled, "Bike Counter for Accurate Cycling Data."

Wai-Jing Man's thesis was titled, "Overcoming Barriers to Change: What’s holding back Education for Sustainability in Australia?"

Wes Petersen's thesis was titled, "A Pathway for Improving the Energy Efficiency of Artspace Buildings."
