Help Shape the Future!

MCAD’s MA in Sustainable Design program is helping shape the first ever Global Congress for Climate Change & Sustainability Professionals.

In addition to engaging in the sessions, we’ll be:

  • running a workshop where students and recent grads get a chance to craft compelling and creative presentations on The Future of Sustainability: An Early Career Perspective
  • teaching “Sustainability: The Basics, Brundtland, and Beyond -- Everything you wanted to know about sustainability, but were afraid to ask”
  • helping everyone Collaboratively Create Personal Action Plans


We’re calling it a Congress (rather than a conference) because you’ll be connecting and engaging with hundreds of sustainability colleagues & peers from across sectors and disciplines in solutions-oriented conversations to advance our field of practice. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to network and collaborate.  

In addition to sharing your own ideas and insights, you’ll be inspired by Janine Benyus,  Dr. Vandana Shiva, and Bob Langert .  

Our big goal is for us -- including you -- to come together and rise up as a stronger community of practice.  Please join us to help shape the future of our profession!
