Many students find our program through biomimicry, as there are so few places where you can get rigorous training online in the greater context of sustainable design. If you’re curious about biomimicry and would like to give it a go, you’re in luck! We’re offering our fully online short course Introduction to Biomimicry: A Sustainable Design Methodology this spring, starting March 27. This course is a wonderful and easy (and very inexpensive!) way to learn how to create innovative and sustainable design solutions inspired by nature. It’s fully online, but it will send you outside each week to observe, notice, and journal in nature, then apply what you see in — perhaps in your own backyard — to develop your own creative design ideas. It’s also a nice way to get a sense of what online learning is like, and to meet people from around the world. This course tends to fill quickly, so please register asap! If you’re curious about biomimicry, sustainable design, or our fully online MA in Sustainable Design program, feel free to contact me! You may also want to join our next [free] informational webinar.
