Time to Get Ready!

... for the ISSP Sustainability Associate Exam!

The demand for skilled sustainability practitioners has grown exponentially. As businesses, nonprofits, and governments worldwide have adopted sustainability-focused practices, the need for professionals with the expertise to guide them has never been greater. 

To build sustainability professionals' credibility in the eyes of clients, colleagues, employers, and the public, the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) has developed standards of practice and professional certifications for sustainability professionals, including the credential ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA).

MCAD's MA in Sustainable Design program, an ISSP Education Partner, has created a fully online course to help you prepare for your ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) exam.

This fully online course is 5 weeks long and requires you to spend 8 to 10 hours each week. Each week you will engage with a range of learning activities, including readings, videos, journaling exercises, quizzes, and more. Students will be working through the ISSP-SA Study Guide throughout the course. There will be due dates each week with the instructor offering guidance and feedback, but there will be no set scheduled meetings and students may work through each week's content on their own time. At the end of the course students will be prepared to take the ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) Exam. This course is taught by MA in Sustainable Design faculty Holly Robbins , ISSP-SA.
