The world today is navigating quickly changing conditions of increasing complexity and volatility, driven by rapid transformation in technology, globalization, population growth, the climate emergency, biodiversity loss, increasing wealth disparity, and enduring social injustices. The impacts of these challenges are experienced across our entire planet, yet most severely by the world's least resourced populations.

Today’s challenges require specific leadership skills and tools that previously were often unappreciated or even unrecognized. More than ever, leaders around the world need to cultivate the resources of insight and empathy, of creative agility, of collaboration, and the capacity to foster shared purpose across the communities they lead.

What are these resources and how do you cultivate the skills to implement them?

Tools for New Ways of Leading, a new short course by Trisha Bauman, is an opportunity for you to understand and practice tools for new ways of leading to make the kind of positive change desperately needed today. The tools explored enable leaders to develop the creative potential of diverse and inclusive teams, to cultivate emergent thinking and problem-solving, and to collaborate across community, professional, and industry differences. 

Integrating pragmatic skill development, applied learning, and peer-to-peer sharing of insights, this course sets students on a path to further their own resources for leading skillfully across situations of increasing challenge, uncertainty, and ambiguity. 

PLEASE NOTE: This course is not just for “leaders”!  It’s for anyone seeking to effect positive change in today’s challenging world. If you’re reading this, it’s meant for you.

The course is fully online and runs Monday Sep 27, 2021 through Sunday Oct 31, 2021.
