Brendan McNamara is an all-around digital creator, technician, inventor, carpenter, farmer and ecologist living on the ecosystem-rich Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, surrounded by the plants, animals and family he cares for. Brendan is passionate about living within his ecological means and resides in tiny houses partially powered by self-installed solar panels and wind turbines, gradually building the acreage where he lives into a multi-family permaculture homestead in collaboration with his landlord. Recently he completed his baccalaureate in business and organizational administration at Peninsula College in 2024, where he also received certificates in green building and fine woodworking (2019). For almost a year he also studied environmental policy at Huxley College of the Environment (2020) and greatly enjoyed it, but decided that his greatest impact would be made in the private sector. He's been an advocate for global sustainability as long as he can remember and has a keen interest in applying his love for biology, philosophy and physics toward achieving a regenerative society. Brendan has worked with titans of global regeneration over the years as part of convening and promoting conferences exploring and implementing sustainable strategies, and is proud to have helped develop documentaries and libraries of presentations about these topics.
