Describe the work you submitted for merits.

I submitted a linear line drawing I did for my drawing 1 class. For that same class, I also submitted a close-up shot of a porcelain baby head that I drew. For my Media 1 class, I submitted a video self-portrait that seemed to over pretty well with the rest of the class. And finally, for my 2D class, I submitted a fashion themed zine.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I'm really excited to learn how to 3D model and to make longer animations. I have an animation I was working on for a class project that I want to make an extended version of, I plan on finishing it this summer. I also might want to make some more zines, those were fun to make.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I really liked the idea of an arts-focused school, so I don't have to take any classes that I wouldn't actually need in the future (I'm sick of math classes!). I also received a presidential scholarship so that made a big difference in my decision to go to MCAD.

What's the best thing you've got from MCAD's free shelf?

I found a bottle of some Elmers School Glue. It was pretty great day for me.

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

Recently, I've been obsessed with the EP Like Water by Wendy, she's a brilliant performer and the visuals and aesthetics of the album are just something you don't see much of.

What inspires you?

I get most of my ideas and inspiration from the weird dreams I have.

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

At the moment, my favorite piece of mine that I've made is a digital drawing of a still from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. I put a lot of work into it and I think it turned out quite nice.
