Digital Illustration for Ages 15-18 (in person)

Learn the basics of digital illustration and practice using the drawing and painting tools in Photoshop.

Course description

Complete a still-life value study and create custom brushes that can be used in character designs. Explore the illustration process of moving from thumbnails to finished illustrated compositions. The class includes presentations on contemporary illustrators, demonstrations, and in-class work time. / This computer-based class is held in an MCAD computer lab and students will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software during class.

Prerequisites

Previous drawing experience is helpful, but not required.
