In this class, students explore the world around them, through hobbies, interests, and everyday experiences, to create paintings that tell stories. Open to ages 12-15. Course descriptionFocusing on personal meaning, delve into how favorite objects, interests, relationships with friends and family, and cultural heritage shape a sense of place. Throughout the course, develop artistic skills, learn key techniques in composition, brushstrokes, and color theory. Draw inspiration from both historical and contemporary artists who incorporate and include their culture and environment into their work. This class emphasizes the process of creating, with each student making intentional choices to express their personal perspective through painting. / Material fee of $5 included in course tuition.Open to students ages 12-15.
