This last summer second year MFA student, Kelsey Bosch, and MCAD MFA instructor, Haynes Riley, participated in the WZFR residency outside of Somerset, WI. The residency was founded by Ben Moren, MFA faculty member, and John Kim, a Macalester faculty member. The WZFR residency is a rural, low-res program for filmmakers from across disciplines that encourages sharing, collaboration, and the use of local resources for the creation of short experimental films. Other 2015 artists-in-residence included Eric William Carroll and Morgan Adamson. The resident artists' work was recently screened at Lily Springs Farm in Osceola, WI, on a lake, and included opening films by Kate Casanova, Sam Hoolihan, and Jonathan Kaiser. Music by Olympus (Michael Gallope, John Vitale, Travis Workman), and Jonathan Kaiser. For more information and to apply visit: http://wzfr.org Categories All
