Originally shown at the XY and Z Gallery in Minneapolis, MN, Vadim Gershman's (MFA '12) expansive project entitled "Alternative Cloud Research (ACR)" has traveled to the Hoffman LaChance Gallery in St.Louis, Missouri. The project consists of a series of Google Earth images printed on canvas with spiritual aphorisms overprinted in transparent text. A projection of an automatically-archiving cloud website supplements the physical aspect of the show and can be seen here. Gershman's work will be accompanied by a sound installation by Parisian. In addition to being very well received in both cities, both the printed matter and website received AIGA awards for 2012. More information on ACR and other work can be found at Gershmans website.
