The MCAD MFA has several resources to support students and alumni interested in teaching. The recently created, Teaching Art and Design Online Certificate (3 credits) each fall through MCAD Continuing Education is very popular and counts as one of our MFA electives. We also offer the Teaching in Higher Ed Seminar (3 credits) as an MFA elective each spring. Further, MFA students are welcome to be Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) with up to four different faculty's classes during their time in the program. Read more about our various teaching resources and links. We caught up with some of our MFA alums who are engaging their careers in classrooms, from K-12 to Higher Ed and beyond!
