Please join us in congratulating Camilo Aguirre '20 on his winning proposal for the MN Center for Book Arts Collegiate Fellowship! This opportunity includes a $1000 stipend, an 8-week studio residency, tuition for one MCBA class up to $300, a year long membership to MCBA, among other benefits. Camilo will produce ten polymer gravure prints and ten embossments that address land dispossession and the impoverishment of farmers based in Columbia, creating an inversion of the natural landscape as idyllic paradise trope while suggesting the need to think about the implicit social relations in its configuration.
