The Soovac Gallery in Minneapolis is currently showing "Fluctuating Capacity", a mixed-media installation created by Adam Hamilton (MFA '14). The install includes various paintings and found objects ranging from bone fragments to disassembled modern technology. Hamilton juxtaposes the antiquated with the contemporary, questioning the viewers perception of time. The implied functionally proposes a false reality as the viewer moves through this Rube Goldberg machine of the mind. The show runs through March 23rd, more information on the show and the Soovac Gallery can be found here. Hamilton's work can be seen here. Categories Events
