Greg Hoffman, the vice president of Global Brand Creative and Brand Experience for Nike, drives Nike’s mission of inspiring athletes everywhere around the world to reach their full potential. Hoffman presides over the Global Brand Marketing and Design Divisions, which include brand communication, digital brand, brand design and retail brand. With teams around the world, including in Portland, Oregon, the Netherlands, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Rio de Janeiro, he is responsible for leading the creation and management of Nike’s Global Brand Identity and Brand Voice, shaping how athletes experience the brand at every touch-point. Hoffman's work includes Nike's brand campaigns for the 2012 London Summer Olympics as well as this summer’s 2014 World Cup in Brazil. His work also encompasses maintaining Nike’s continuing legacy of innovation through the launching of performance innovations such as Nike FREE, Nike Flyknit, and Nike Air Max. In addition, Hoffman oversees the building of brands for Nike’s premier athletes, including LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. A twenty-two-year veteran of the Nike brand, Hoffman is an MCAD alum and worked previously as a designer at the Walker Art Center. He also serves in a voluntary capacity as the unofficial spokesman for the Minnesota Vikings at Nike’s World Headquarters.
